Senior Denzel Mendez, Opinion Editor for “The Rosette” Newspaper, brings his optimistic, hardworking, and in most cases, very clumsy self into the staff. Mendez joined Newspaper to get involved with impactful events in school and speak freely among his staff members. After he graduates, Mendez hopes to achieve his goals of being a journalist, as his passion for writing keeps growing and he enjoys expressing his bold views with students. Mendez enjoys to sing and listen to countless hours of music, write stories in his notebooks, and play tennis. Mendez will also rant about how amazing “Pink Floyd” and “Cuco” are. He really wants to be sponsored by “Vans” as his staff members say he is a “walking advertisement.”
