How to fortify your house (Home Alone style)

Have a BB gun and bricks on standby at all times!! 

Frostfall steps (Ice covered concrete stairs) 

Materials: Stairs (duh !), garden hose, and icy weather

Step 1- Find stairs 

Step 2- Find a working garden hose

Step 3- Spray the front steps with the garden hose

Step 4- Let it sit in the cold so it can create a treacherous ice slick

The burning grip (getting you intruder to grab a scorching hot doorknob)

Materials: red-hot charcoal starter ( cause everyone has one of those 🙂 ), Door knob, and Door

Step 1- Find door with a doorknob

Step 2- Attach red-hot charcoal starter to outlet

Step 3- Wait for the doorknob to get hot 

Flaming hot hair

Materials: Blowtorch ( cause we all have one of those ! ), String, Door

Step 1- Find door 

Step 2- Attach string to the trigger of blowtorch and the inside doorknob

Step 3- Attach a blowtorch to the other end, hanging for the ceiling

Step 4- Make sure it activates when someone tries to open the door

Feathered fool (covering the intruder(s) with feathers)

Materials: Feathers, Platter, Glue, Fan, Plastic wrap, String, Tripwire, Door

Step 1- Apply feathers ( pretty ones are preferred 🙂 so they go down in style )  on a platter

Step 2- Apply glue on plastic wrap

Step 3- Find door

Step 4- Attach the plastic wrap with glue with string in front of a door

Step 5- Attach string to trigger on the flag

Step 6- Place the platter of feathers in front of the fan

Paint can of chaos (hitting the intruder with a paint can)

Materials: Paint cans, string, A ceiling

Step 1- Get your paint can and tie the string around the handle

Step 2- Hang paint cans from the staircase banister

Step 3- Swing them down and smack the Bandits in the face with them 🙂 

Micro Machines of madness (making the intruders slip on toy cars)

Materials: Toy cars ( from your little siblings room 🙂 )

Step 1- Get your bucket of toy cars

Step 2- Dump toy cars across the floor of your choice

Wanna Swing from a chandelier? (getting the intruder to swing from your treehouse (which you definitely have) and closing their destination)

Materials: Tree, Tree house, Window, Zipline

Step 1- Find your tree house right outside your house

Step 2- Have a zipline attached to your house from the treehouse

Step 3- When running away from the bandit and you go into the treehouse to go back into the house, use the zipline and close a window right before the bandit gets inside.

Iron face (hitting the intruders face with a hot iron)

Materials: Tripwire, hot iron

Step 1- Attach a tripwire on a place of your choice

Step 2- Connect a hot iron on the fullest setting to the tripwire

Sticky steps (Tar covered stair) 

Materials: Tar ( because you have it laying around 🙂 ), carpet runner, nails

Step 1- Cover the stair with tar and disguised it as a carpet runner

(Extra) Step 2- Lay out nails all along the stairs

Shattered surprise (Broken ornaments)

Materials: Ornaments

Step 1- Steal ornaments from your christmas tree ( Get the ugly ones )

Step 2- Take the ornaments and smash them in a place of your choice ( Make sure you don’t step on them )

The eight-legged ambush (Tarantula)

Materials: Spider ( Any spider of your choice ) 

Step 1- Place the spider of your choice on the head of the intruder 🙂

Shovel strike (getting hit with snow shovel)

Materials: A nice neighbor with a snow shovel

Step 1- Have a nice neighbor who likes you

Step 2- Have them hit the bad guys with a shovel 🙂
